A dozen OIQ members working at Polytechnique Montréal have co-authored, with researchers from other fields, a book on the circular economy that has just been published by the Université de Montréal’s university press (PUM). The authors suggest that waste can be reduced in this type of economy mainly by extending the service life of products, increasing recycling, managing resources according to sustainability principles and sharing the use of goods and services. Entitled L'économie circulaire: une transition incontournable, electronic versions (pdf and ePub) of the book are available for free on the PUM’s site.
