Last winter, Jérémy Brouillard began his master's program in automated manufacturing engineering. We asked him if receiving a $3,000 scholarship from the Ordre des ingénieurs Foundation in the spring of 2016 made a difference for him. “It changes everything! I pay for my education myself. In addition to my job as an instructor at the École de technologie supérieure, the scholarship lets me dedicate myself to my master’s program,” says the winner of the 3rd Student Award of Merit.

“My master’s project consists in automating packaging for prescription drugs in children's hospital pharmacies. I am working with Sainte-Justine Hospital on this project, which will make packaging more efficient and safer and save hospitals a great deal of money. At the same time, I am starting my own business.”

“The OIQ Foundation awarded me this scholarship for two reasons: my outstanding academic results and my community service," explains this young man, who started a rugby team and helped it qualify for Québec's university league (RSEQ) during his undergraduate studies at ÉTS. Thanks to this support, I can keep focusing on one single objective, my studies!”
