Volunteers from the Montreal and Estrie regional committees participated in Les filles et les sciences, un duo électrisant ! day on March 12. This activity was designed to introduce teenaged girls in secondary 2 and 3 to science and technology professions and the education programs that lead to them.
Montreal – Over 250 girls spoke to Farell Rocher, Jr. Eng., Émilie Hudon, Eng., and Ahmed Cherifi, Jr. Eng., who ran the Montreal regional committee’s stand at the ÉTS. Sophie Larivière-Manta, Eng., an OIQ director, also attended to present two door prizes to participants.

Sherbrooke – Around sixty participants visited the Estrie regional committee’s stand at the Cégep de Sherbrooke. The stand was run by Mélanie Trudel, Jr. Eng., and Clémence Fauteux-Lefebvre, Jr. Eng.
