The Faculty of Engineering at the Université de Sherbrooke has posted a video on line about the benefits of problem and project-based learning. See how engineering problem and project-based learning (EPPBL) differs from the traditional lecture-based approach by allowing electrical and computer engineering students to make their dreams come true.
Lecture courses in the bachelor of electrical engineering and computer engineering programs (the only programs that apply EPPBL) have been replaced by problem-based learning units where students are given solid guidance as they work together to solve an engineering problem and thus develop targeted skills for each specific unit.
