The 26th Engineering Games will be held from January 3 to 7, 2016 at the École de Technologie Supérieure.

This year, the Engineering Games want to revisit the beginnings, advances and achievements of Québec engineering.

To win the competition, participants will have to achieve high cultural and scientific scores while at the same time displaying their technical expertise, athletic skills and innovativeness. More than 500 participants from twelve schools and faculties of engineering in Québec participate in the games every year. The performances of the various delegations are judged based on an assessment grid developed before the games are held. An OIQ representative will sit on the panel of judges for the machine competition, the main event of the Engineering Games. In addition, representatives from the Profession Development Department will give a workshop on January 3 for Engineering Games participants.
