The Canadian Engineering Competition (CEC) will be held at Ryerson University in Toronto from March 8 to 11. For 4 days, Canada’s top engineering students will compete in 7 events in the areas of innovative design and communications.

This year, around 40 students will represent Québec at this prestigious competition. The Université du Québec à Rimouski heads the pack in terms of the number of participants, as ten of its students have qualified to participate in the CEC. During her stop in Rimouski as part of her tour of faculties and schools of engineering, OIQ President Kathy Baig, Eng., congratulated the UQAR students who will compete in the 2018 Canadian Engineering Competition (see photo).
